Bhaarat, the official name of India, has an interesting meaning in Sanskrit, “bha” means knowledge or light, and “rat” is a verb for ‘doing’. Bhāarat is thus ‘the one in search of enlighntenment or knowledge.’

Australians may refer to fools, idiots and hopeless cases as Drongos. Drongo was a 1920's racehorse that showed promise but never won anything in 37 races.
