About the weight of a penny the bumblebee bat of Thailand is the smallest mammal in the world.

Hastings river mice are found in New South Wales, Eastern Australia and Queensland. Hastings river mice prefer damp habitats, along drainage lines if necessary.

Sea Mango is a small evergreen coastal tree growing up 12 m tall. The flowers are fragrant,  with a pink to red throat.

Goanna, Oz-These fierce looking large lizards generally are quite shy and timid. They have few natural enemies.They can grow up to 1 m long.

The spectacled flying fox is a bat that got its name from the light colored fur around its eyes resembling glasses.  It can be found living in the tops of trees in the northeastern parts of Queensland(oz).  It has also been seen in New Guinea and small islands close by.

Batino is a tree common in forests and thickets at low and medium altitudes in many parts of South-East Asia. It was introduced in India and Sri Lanka. It is a medium-sized evergreen tree.

The first rocket was invented by the Chinese in the 13th century.

The Brolga is a large crane. The body of the Brolga is grey, although it has a red head .They stand approximately 1.3 metres tall. Brolgas can be found across the tropical north, central New South Wales and Western Victoria. Spacious wetlands or expansive grassy plains are habitats of the Brolga.

Yellow is the color of mourning in Burma.

Found from the coast of New South Wales to the Blue Mountains the Blue Mountains Tree Frog is a beautifully coloured frog.  With a base colour of medium brown it has a dark line from its nose to its stomach with a lighter line above it.  These frogs also have bright green spots on their head and limbs as well as orange and red marks on their arms and legs making them quite a sight to see.  They are wonderful jumpers and even great swimmers although they do not have webbed feet like other frogs. 

Sage Leaved Alangium is a tall thorny tree native to India. It grows to a height of about 3 to 10 meters.The bark is ash colored and rough .

The northern bettong is a nocturnal marsupial that is found in Northern Queensland (oz). Northern bettongs like to live in a forest where there is abundant moisture, plenty of grass, and a dense canopy.

Black Swans are found commonly in rivers all over Australia, though not very common in the North West. They make their nests out of coarse reed stems on a dry bit of a small island, or on a river bank. They lay a clutch of about five eggs which are greenish white in colour, usually in autumn (March-April) or in winter.

Wild Mango is an indian tree, 10-15 m tall, with yellowish brown, smooth branches. Leaf stalks are 10-15 cm long. Leaves are 30-40 cm long.
